The Rosaline Glasses

Based out of Arques, France, the Rosaline Pink Swirl glassware was produced by Arcoroc. In the early 1980s there was a surge of people collecting “Depression Glass” (the pink textured glasses that become very popular during the Depression years, when people couldn’t afford anymore expensive crystal glassware). Because everyone was looking for pink glasses, Arcoroc decided to produce a pink glassware line similar to the Depression Glass from the 1930s and 1940s. Although it was not the real thing, people started collecting it as a cheaper alternative and was a success. The Rosaline Pink Swirl line was sold in department stores until 1989 and then could only be found in Flea Markets and thrift stores. Today it is almost as highly sought after as true Depression Glass. Rosaline Pink Swirl comes in a full line of glassware including plates and serving pieces.
