About Sarreguemines
Sarreguemineshistory of ceramics all started in 1790 when Nicholas Jacoby and two partners opened a small earthenware factory in the town of Sarreguemines, located in the North-East of France. Over two century of venture, the factory has brought the small city to the top of the earthenware industry, providing the whole world with a vast collection of earthenware, vases, decorative flower pots, wall frescos, chimneys, and so on. The factory changed its name and mark many times over the centuries, and eventually closed down in 2007.
