Monreale, by virtue of its long-standing historical tradition and its deep-rooted artisanal production fabric in the ceramic sector, is one of the 46 cities in Italy that can boast recognition as a “City of ancient and established ceramic tradition”. An ancient art that has its roots in the 16th century, thanks to the school of artists founded by Masi Oddo, and which still receives prestige today thanks to the magnificent creations of the town’s artisan workers.
